What is ImoVreg?

ImoVreg is a vehicle registration and document verification portal developed by the Imo State Internal Revenue Service and approved by the Imo State Government headed by His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma. It is developed for use by the Motor Licensing Authority (MLA) at the State capital and IIRS Offices of the 27 Local Govermnent Areas of the State.

ImoVreg is a unique application developed by the ICT Unit of the Imo State Internal Revenue Service (IIRS), under the current Interim Management.

Guideline for Vehicle Registration

Before going to register your vehicle, ensure that the following documents are ready

  • From the company you purchased the vehicle, get letter of attestation, Delivery Note, Receipt of purchase or invoice,
  • Proof of ownership of the vehicle for change of ownership purposes..
  • Means of identification eg. NIN, Voters card, Int Passport etc.
  • Residential address.
  • Type of vehicle plate numbers
  • Private Number plate: Blue
  • Commercial Vehicle Plate Red
  • Government Number plate: Green
  • Diplomatic plates: White Number on Red Background
